We, at Max Biocare, are shocked and saddened by the severity and impact of the recent and ongoing catastrophic Australia bushfires that have swept across our beautiful country. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of those affected. The latest estimates show that over 10 million hectares of land have been burned, 1 billion native animals and livestock have perished, thousands of homes destroyed, over 25 lives lost and many more are missing. These figures are utterly heartbreaking.
We are in awe of our amazing firefighters, emergency service workers and incredible volunteers who have worked tirelessly to protect our communities. As a company, is it is our mission to support the disaster relief efforts of these events now and into the future. We have responded by donating $5,000 to each of the following organisations to ensure our efforts are spread across the key areas of emergency services, humanitarian relief and animal welfare:
The extent of the disaster is ongoing, and the recovery period is expected to be years not months. We encourage our extended community to donate to these organisations and spread awareness in any capacity you can. Every bit helps and together we can make a difference.
